3 Tips For Creating a Last Minute Festive Campaign

Many people will have jumped on board the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals to start their Christmas shopping, although if you’re like the majority of us you’ll probably leave it until the last minute.

Just like Christmas shopping, it’s easy to leave your Christmas campaigns until the last minute. If this is you – DON’T PANIC. We’ve got you covered with our top tips for building a successful last-minute festive campaign!

1. Create something that can be sent out quickly

When time is of the essence, the key is to create something that can be produced quickly. Some time-efficient campaigns could include:

– Christmas Giveaway – this could last for 2 weeks, 1 week, or if you’ve left it seriously late, you could hold it for just a couple of days. This is a great way to gain a lot of attention in a short space of time.

– Launch Festive Packaging – Packaging is a huge part of branding. Although it would take a while to change your entire packaging to a festive edition. Instead, you could send out limited edition Christmas packaging to a small number of customers. The changes don’t have to be crazy, just a few festive tweaks to the artwork here and there.

– Paint the Town Red (literally) – Christmas is all about the red, green, and gold colour palettes. A really quick way of getting your brand in the festive spirit is to spread cheer all over your online presence. Whether it’s on your social media or your website, it won’t take long to change your colour scheme.

– Send a Digital Christmas Card – This time-efficient, cost-effective gesture is the perfect way to send a little note to your customers over the festive period. Adding a personal touch that doesn’t sound salesy will go down a treat with your customers! Get in touch with us to see what we can do for you.

2. Use an agency that can work to tight deadlines

Creative agencies are a great place to find creative minds who can work up something beautiful for you.

They’ve usually got years of experience under their belts and are experts in different fields. Whether you need some gorgeous graphic design or some clever copywriting, you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for in no time.

Just because an agency can work quickly, doesn’t mean they can’t work up something beautiful. At PAGE, we specialise in print and packaging design, social media, web design and development, and more! So, no matter what type of festive campaign you’re looking for, don’t be afraid to get in touch.

3. Give something back to your customers (GWP)

Keep your audience in mind at all times. Christmas is a time for giving after all!

While you’re trying to boost those last-minute Christmas sales, subtle marketing will be your friend more than ever at this time. Your audience is going to want to feel involved and it’s always a bonus if they feel like they’re gaining something out of it.

Let’s say you own a cafe, for example. A great way to give something while also receiving something (a sale in this instance), would be to offer a small gift or freebie for every festive coffee bought. You’re making sales, yet you’re also giving something back to your customer as a gift. It’s a win-win!
