Disney and Sally Hansen Influencer Campaign

One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Disney’s The Little Mermaid hits the big screen in the brand new live action remake, featuring Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy.

Ahead of the release date on 26th May 2023, beauty bloggers and influencers were sent a special PR package to celebrate the release and to create a buzz amongst their followers. 

The PR package was a gorgeous beauty box filled with limited edition nail gels from popular beauty brand, Sally Hansen. The award-winning brand created the exclusive collection especially for The Little Mermaid movie, featuring shades named ‘Not Too Crabby’, ‘Shell Yeah’, and ‘Villainous Violet’.

The Disney and Sally Hansen collaboration has been a huge success. With Sally Hansen being a worldwide household name since 1946, and of course with Disney being arguably one of the most famous brands of all time, the collaboration makes total sense!

 

 

PAGE were delighted to have full control of the design and production of these bespoke beauty boxes. To fit with the ‘under the sea’ theme, we took a playful spin on the shape of the box. 

We opted for a distinctive clam-shaped box instead of a conventional cubed box. The box is adorned with a debossed design on pearlescent paper, which beautifully captures the shimmering essence of the ocean. When the clam-shaped box is opened, it reveals the stunning “pearls” within – Sally Hansen’s limited edition miracle gels.

As the lid opens up it also displays the iconic brand new The Little Mermaid movie poster, featuring Halle Bailey as Ariel.

 

Not only did PAGE design and produce these magical boxes, we also fulfilled each and every one which were then sent out to the individual beauty influencers across the UK.

Once received, the influencers were encouraged to share pictures and videos of The Little Mermaid mailer box across their social media platforms, particularly on Instagram stories.

 

 

Across the entirety of the influencers who shared these exclusive boxes on their social media channels, they generated hundreds of thousands of views on the mailer by Disney and Sally Hansen.
